How long does an exterior repaint take?

Most single-storey homes take 1–2 weeks depending on prep and weather. We give you a start date and a realistic finish date with your quote.

Do you paint in winter?

Interiors, yes, all year. Exteriors we schedule around temperature and dew. If conditions aren't right we tell you, and we don't paint just to keep the schedule.

What paint do you use?

Quality NZ-made paint suited to Canterbury's UV and frosts. We'll talk through sheen levels and colours at the measure up.

Do I need to move furniture?

No. We move, cover and put it back. Just clear small valuables and anything fragile off the walls.

My house was built before 1980. Is lead paint a problem?

It can be. We test older homes and follow safe removal practice for lead-based paint, and it's all included in the written quote.
